The Customer Contact Centre is the first point of contact for many customers who have a question or problem to be solved. Whether it be financial products or services, our Customer Contact Centre staff will find the right solution for our customers’ needs.

Of course, customer satisfaction is the most important measure of success for any Customer Contact Centre. But it’s also important to benchmark our performance against other contact centres, which is why we make a point of entering the CRM (customer relationship management) Contact Centre Awards.

At the 2008 Awards, our Customer Contact Centre was the winner of the Supreme Diamond Award for customer service for 50+ seats across all industries, and took out the banking industry award – the fifth straight year we’ve won this award, and something that has never been achieved before by anyone in the history of the awards. The BNZ Customer Contact Centre also took out the top spot in one other category, second place in another, and achieved a top three placing in the Inbound Insurance category, a great result considering it’s the first time BNZ Insurance has entered this category.

Work in the best environment

Our award-winning Contact Centre has two locations in New Zealand, one in Wellington, the other in Auckland. Our contact centre in Quay Park, Auckland was completed in 2008 and operates under a stringent set of environmental standards including the use of high standard energy efficient systems, which makes it better for the environment and better for the people that work there.
